Farewell but not goodbye!

I can't believe my last post was back in January this year, thats unreal!

I used to be so good and do monthly blogs but if you have been following Rock + Wild online on our socials you'll know we have had a lot going on this year.

From my last blog post to this shiny new one I'm currently writing I've managed to grow a tiny human being alongside an epic wedding season, so I think you know where this is heading......my impending maternity leave!!!

Believe it or not my last day is tomorrow but don't fear I'll be back to my flowery world in nine months time but for now I sit here full of excitement and wonder of who our tiny little baba will be!

I'm going to do it, I'm going to reflect already...

I did a lovely little wedding last week and it was a little emotional knowing it was our last one of the year but this wedding season was truly an epic one and I'm already looking forward to the weddings booked for next year!

I got to play and get creative with some amazing big designs, which I must admit is my most favourite floristry to create, from breathtaking arches, to full on milk churns overflowing with flower to abundant and lush flower columns to frame the most gorgeous of aisles...I've blinking loved it!

Did any of you get a chance to pop into the Trowbridge museum over the summer months, if so you wouldn't of missed our epic archway design. This flower installation has to be the biggest and most creative display I have EVER made. The staff at the museum were just epic and made the whole experience from creating to making the most fun, free flowing, creative awesomeness ever! Certainly an experience I will treasure this year and one installation that will always shine bright in Rock + Wilds portfolio.

Autumns on the way...

I was born on the autumn equinox and I'm pretty sure that is why I have such a love for this season. So I am sad to miss out on the flowers and seasonal festivities that come with fall in floristry but lets hope Rock + Wilds newest member will have a matching love for autumn aswell...

How can you not, crisp air, cosy nights, Halloween scares and the most heartwarming colours to match. So a big sorry comes from me as it will also mean no flower pumpkins and more importantly no Christmas workshops this year, which is such a shame as they were a massive joy to do last year but I will have plenty of time to think up some more workshop ideas on my return in the new year.

So until next year...

As we switch off the web shop, turn on the voicemail and automate our emails, just remember we will be back! It's only a little family hibernation and I will see you next June with tired eyes but a massive flower fire in my heart!

Thank you so much for all your kind words of support and love, means the world to me as the next adventure begins, wish us luck!

See you next year and thank you!

Love Kerry and the Rock + Wild family

xx
