Well, well, well it's been a little while since I've posted, in fact its been...wait for it...nearly 2 and a half years, waaaaaaaaa?!?

I mean I've got some excuses, first up, my wildly loving feral boys keeping me busy and I believe my last blog was before my littlest even made his first appearance and now that blonde, curly haired cherub is running around and tackling his big bro like a skilled wrestler. I mean look at that face!

Also we've moved. Last September saw us move into our new gaff, which was very welcomed as we were bursting at the seams in our old house and now we all have our own space and gah don't we have some plans to make this our dream home.

That internal wanna be interior designer in me is itching to escape so there's going to be plenty of projects to get stuck in to and not only that but big potential on the flower studio front too!

At present you'll find me in the garage at the front of the house which is working really well and you no longer have to traipse through bin alley as I used to refer to it. Although I'm not really selling it to you by calling it the garage but oh my IT BE FANCY.

You'll see my trademark neon sign, living wall and the most ridiculously Barbie pink cabinets (perks of a carpenter as a Hubby) because yes...I am the only girl in the house so I wanted this space to show it!

The space is smaller than I'm used to but as the Christmas rush showed me it worked as a well oiled machine, so chuffed with that.

My future goal will be to extend the studio to create twice the space, as I did miss not hosting any Christmas wreath making workshops last year but for a more immediate project I just want to replace the garage door. Nothing more motivating in the morning than the squeaking sound of metal as I swing a sheet of steel into the air, certainly a different take on Heavy Metal. Can you tell I loathe that garage door but all good things come to those who wait, so they say or as I prefer to do is to constantly complain to the Hubby until he caves in on all the other millions of jobs he has on the go and do mine!

Anyway, getting a bit off subject here, back to the flowers....so, although the studio is smaller I have utilised every inch of space and the ultimate test of efficiency will be the upcoming event of.....can you guess? VALENTINES DAY well doesn't that lead me on nicely.

Valentines Day...

Oh Yes its that romantic time of the year, champagne, chocolates, rose petals, music and most importantly FLOWERS (although realistically its a quick smooch, takeaway and then collapse on the sofa nowadays, who says romance is dead!) BUT ALWAYS FLOWERS (and wine shh) and oh my have I got some lush ones for you.

Now for the visuals...

From the classic romantic favourite of the most devine, lushest, velvety deep red roses to the collective rainbow of never a dull "Kerry"mix. Never one to do boring you will find lots of stunners live on our web shop now, so go on, go check it out and as always there is the option for delivery (within our usual 10 mile radius) or collection from the studio, as its easy peasy now that I'm stationed kerb side with plenty of parking out front.

I will sign off now, with it being the start of a brand new year let's ease in gently.

Happy 2025 Y'all

I can't believe my last post was back in January this year, thats unreal!

I used to be so good and do monthly blogs but if you have been following Rock + Wild online on our socials you'll know we have had a lot going on this year.

From my last blog post to this shiny new one I'm currently writing I've managed to grow a tiny human being alongside an epic wedding season, so I think you know where this is heading......my impending maternity leave!!!

Believe it or not my last day is tomorrow but don't fear I'll be back to my flowery world in nine months time but for now I sit here full of excitement and wonder of who our tiny little baba will be!

I'm going to do it, I'm going to reflect already...

I did a lovely little wedding last week and it was a little emotional knowing it was our last one of the year but this wedding season was truly an epic one and I'm already looking forward to the weddings booked for next year!

I got to play and get creative with some amazing big designs, which I must admit is my most favourite floristry to create, from breathtaking arches, to full on milk churns overflowing with flower to abundant and lush flower columns to frame the most gorgeous of aisles...I've blinking loved it!

Did any of you get a chance to pop into the Trowbridge museum over the summer months, if so you wouldn't of missed our epic archway design. This flower installation has to be the biggest and most creative display I have EVER made. The staff at the museum were just epic and made the whole experience from creating to making the most fun, free flowing, creative awesomeness ever! Certainly an experience I will treasure this year and one installation that will always shine bright in Rock + Wilds portfolio.

Autumns on the way...

I was born on the autumn equinox and I'm pretty sure that is why I have such a love for this season. So I am sad to miss out on the flowers and seasonal festivities that come with fall in floristry but lets hope Rock + Wilds newest member will have a matching love for autumn aswell...

How can you not, crisp air, cosy nights, Halloween scares and the most heartwarming colours to match. So a big sorry comes from me as it will also mean no flower pumpkins and more importantly no Christmas workshops this year, which is such a shame as they were a massive joy to do last year but I will have plenty of time to think up some more workshop ideas on my return in the new year.

So until next year...

As we switch off the web shop, turn on the voicemail and automate our emails, just remember we will be back! It's only a little family hibernation and I will see you next June with tired eyes but a massive flower fire in my heart!

Thank you so much for all your kind words of support and love, means the world to me as the next adventure begins, wish us luck!

See you next year and thank you!

Love Kerry and the Rock + Wild family

First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR y'all, a little late to the game I know, sorry!

Can't believe we are approaching the end of January already and I have to admit this month has flown by this year, which is not often the case.

We have been busy mind and I had the absolute pleasure of creating the most stunning artificial flower arch installation for the wonderful Bridal Lounge here in Trowbridge. If you are a local Trowbridgian go and take a peek, you'll find it slightly tucked away at The Shires Asda entrance. It's honestly the most gorgeous thing I have created this year, granted its only January but its going to take some doing to top that!

If you are a Bride to be still hunting for your dream wedding dress I can strongly recommend popping into The Bridal Lounge they are just the sweetest, friendliest team you'll find. Also there is a little bonus too, you may find some special offers from local folks like me in the wedding business if your lucky to purchase one of there stunning dresses....oooohhhh sounds exciting huh!

Valentines Day...

The Devine Dozen which showcases the most stunning Red Roses out there and as always accompanied with the freshest foliages and all perfectly finished with a big old bow! There are plenty of bouquets to choose from, we got The Pretty Pinks for the fairytale romantic. The Wild One for the free spirits and The Meadow Burst for those nature lovers.

Or take a chance on Kerry's Best of the Bunch always full of surprise using the very best of flower available and in an array of colour to make any flower lover smile!
